"Inspiration All Around Us"

     In an interview with Davis and Elkins College students, a member of the Pittsburgh Pirates' Creative Department states, "Sometimes it can be challenging to keep things fresh and new, but there is inspiration all around us." In what is described as a "competitive" field, it is reassuring to read that someone whose daily task is to be creative can also experience a block within the process. It is great to also read that hard work at a young age can be beneficial. This means that the work that we do in college, whether it is school-based or independently sought out, is a future resource and benefit. Currently, I am the Senior editor of the school's literary magazine and because of this many doors in my field-of-interest have been open.
